Objectives:

  1. Develop an understanding of the clinical presentation of Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) with regard to current diagnostic criteria and research.
  2. Apply a comparative psychoanalytic framework to consider clinical intervention and case formulation for patients with BDD.
  3. Recognize ways that experiences of interpersonal trauma may contribute to the development of BDD.
