I moved from Venezuela to Chicago to pursue a Doctorate in Clinical psychology with a specialty in couple and family therapy. I've been in clinical practice for more than 20 years working with adults, teens, couples, and families. With the opportunity to work in Japan for two years, I've had patients from over 25 different countries and many different cultures. I began teaching at Temple University in Tokyo and continued since 2010 at NSU's Psy.D. I believe in integrating scientific and clinical knowledge from a variety of psychological theories to serve the individual needs of my clients.
